About the Owner

Jay Bauder is a life long resident of the area, an honors graduate of Ephrata High School, who excelled on the gridiron and played on the basketball team. After graduating from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Education, Jay first worked as a Quality Control Manager, then as a Project Manager before getting into the Radon Mitigation and Basement Waterproofing field in 1987. Jay is currently serving on the National Board of Directors of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists.

Bauder Basement Systems was started in 1994 and Incorporated in 1999. Jay is the proud father of two sons. His interests also include sports, outdoors, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
